Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) would set up study camps for the quake affected students in all major cities of Azad Kashmir where students would be imparted education for the forthcoming matriculation examination.
Assistant Secretary General IJT and in-charge study camps, Nasurllah Khan Aulakh revealed this in a press conference here on Thursday.
Due to these camps, one year of the students would not be spoiled and they would be able to appear in time in the annual examination. Study camps would be set up at Kharian and Mirpur for Azad Kashmir victims while camps in Peshawar, Attock, and Islamabad would be set up for the NWFP students. Each camp would accommodate 150 students, he added. The inaugural ceremony of Kharian study camp would be held on November 26.
Aulakh further said that IJT has already set up 7 tent schools in quake hit areas including new campus ground, old campus ground of Muzaffarabad, Lower Plate, Langarpura, Dhirkot of Bagh, Shahooter, Kandakatta, and Paras in Balakot district where over 1,500 students are studying. As many as 100 teachers are imparting education to the students.
