Punjab government has identified more than 300 secondary schools in the province, which would be equipped with the update science laboratories under the Second Science Education Project with the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank (ADB) within next three months.
This was disclosed by Aftab Habib Project Director, Second Science Education Project, while talking to a delegation of a school teachers.
He said that the update science laboratories would be helpful for the students of about 302 secondary schools for meeting new syllabus of physics, chemistry and biology with the total cost of Rs 40 million.
He further said that Punjab government has also selected 100 secondary schools for up-gradation of science education, where government will provide overhead projectors, screens, slide projectors, computers and other accessories.
