Anti-Terrorism Court Multan has discharged three accused of murder because the police found them innocent in this case. The incident had occurred on the day of Local Bodies election on August 25. A supporter of the PML-Q candidate Iqbal Anjum (22) was shot dead near Bahawalpur bypass.
Then they got registered a murder case against PML-N MNA Rana Mehmood-ul-Hassan, his father Rana Noor-ul-Hassan, ex-MPA and his younger brother Shahid-ul-Hassan and seven others but they were granted pre-arrest bail by the High Court. During the investigation, police found them innocent because hundreds of people testified that they were not present there when the crime of murder was committed.
