Investment fund assets world-wide rose to 13.6 trillion euros by the end of June this year, up by 13.7 percent on a year before, while net inflows to funds slowed, according industry data on November 23.
Net flows to equity, bonds, multi-asset and money market portfolios were 112 billion euros in the second quarter of the year, compared with 147 billion euros in the first three months of 2005, the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) said. Measured in local currency terms, US mutual funds saw assets rise by 2.3 percent over the previous quarter, while European funds' assets rose by 5.9 percent.
