A project of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be completed at a cost of Rs 2 billion in collaboration with Pakistan and Iran this year.
Chief Executive of the project, Nisar Ahmed Qureshi in a statement here on Monday said that all the legal requirements including No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the ministry of petroleum have been fulfilled. He claimed that this type of gas would not only be cheapest but could also be used in automobile and houses.
Nisar Ahmed Qureshi informed that people would be able to get a gas, which is cheaper and durable to petrol and CNG. "We would try to ensure supply of this gas to remote areas especially Azad Kashmir, Northern Areas and Makran Division in Balochistan," he added.
He said that LPG would also be made available in the areas where gas has not been supplied so far.
