President of MMA Qazi Hussain Ahmad on Thursday said that after contesting local bodies election separately the component parties of the alliance had realised that their solo flight had caused damage to the alliance therefore they would reunite with the zeal to remove bitterness of the past.
MMA is a gift of Allah and both JUI and JI had realised that none of them could win support of the masses if they are not united Qazi said while addressing the annual Taqseem Asnad ceremony held here at Hadiqatul Uloom.
MMA leader said grievances of the component parties of MMA would be removed and they would be given their due rights. We will create new zeal among the workers of MMA to continue our struggle for true Islamic system in the country Qazi said adding our strength lies in the alliance as collective voice would have more impact and strength as compared to the voices which we raise individually Qazi observed.
All of us would show tolerance to accommodate others and treat them with justice and parity without being indulging in differences of sects and paths, which will cause damage to the alliance, MMA president added saying Muslims were facing challenges that could be met with unity and joint struggle.
Defending religious seminaries Qazi said seminaries were centres of knowledge and not terrorism that was negatively propagated by West. Ulema teach Islam and Quran in the seminaries, which guide us to the right path not to the wrong, he remarked.
He said Jihad means to raise voice against injustice and to create a system based on justice and equity. He said in reality Jihad was against terrorism and killing the innocents but it means to struggle for true Islamic system based on justice.
Qazi said everywhere Muslim were subjugated by force and nowhere in the world Muslims used force against any other nation like USA did in Iraq and Afghanistan and Israel in Palestine. He further said US President had issued recently a statement wherein he openly challenged Islam.
Criticising Musharraf, Qazi said Musharraf was asking for bachelor degrees from Ulema, which mean that they were illiterate and uneducated while in reality Ulema were guiding the society. He said Musharraf had been insulting million of people who elected Ulema for their leadership as they were aware of the fact that Ulema could represent them at every forum.
On this occasion he paid rich tributes to late Maulana Abdul Rahim Chitrali who established Hadiqatul Uloom in 1969 and said he was the man who give true representation to Chitral in National Assembly.
Earlier Qazi Hussain Ahmad distributed certificates in the Talaba that completed their studies in Darse Hadith and Hifze Quran.
