The usual traffic jams in the city on Saturday delayed the launching of several functions and the arrival of guests at many events in the city, UPP correspondent reports.
At the Sheraton main crossing facing the Pearl Continental Hotel and the PIDC House, one the worst traffic jams developed due to special traffic arrangements for the Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz's visit to the KPT Oil Pier II which he inaugurated.
The security personnel were also present in very large numbers at all sites where Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz went for attending official events over which he was presiding. Several hundred thousand man-hours of work were lost in this traffic jams.
