The KaraFilm festival has generated a great deal of interest among the cine-lovers in the metropolis. A statement of the organisers of the event on Saturday said that the screening started on Friday as dozens of cinema lovers flocked the PIIA Auditorium to watch the documentaries and shorts played during the afternoon session.
It said that the opening festival audience included several Kara regulars as well as a number of first timers at the festival. At the Alliance Francaise, the open-air screening provided a unique experience of outdoor cinema to the festival audience. Amongst the many attractions, the evening gala screenings featured Producer Subhash Ghai's critically acclaimed film Iqbal and Anupam Kher's 'Main ne Ganhdi ko Nahin Mara'.
