Ordinance promulgated

President Pervez Musharraf promulgated ordinance on Saturday to provide for the recognition and enforcement of arbitration agreements and foreign arbitration awards.
The ordinance will be called the Recognition and Enforcement (Arbitration Agreements and Foreign Arbitration Awards) Ordinance, 2005. It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect from the 11th day of November 2005.
