International expert of Archeology professor Michel Janssen has said that with the efforts of international community, Pakistan government will become able to preserve Mohenjo-daro within short period.
Talking to a group of journalists at Mohenjo-daro site he said that first phase of preservation of Mohenjo-daro was successfully completed and now second phase will start from February 2006.
He said that after long time digging of ruins of Mohenjo-daro will be restarted within short period and new staff will be appointed on local level.
He said that there is some problem of infrastructure which will be solved soon.
He said that Pakistan with the help of Unesco and international community is following long-term strategy to preserve Mohenjo-daro on international standard.
He said that the meeting will held in February 2006 at Mohenjo-daro in which further decision will be made in this regard.
