Dawood Yamaha Limited has launched new model of its four-stroke motorcycle Yamaha Junoon YD-100, to target new generation here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Satoshi Itoh of Yamaha Motor Company Limited said that Yamaha in first three quarters of current year noted 12.2percent increase in demand representing the best business record in company's history not only in terms of month-on-month performance but also in terms of planning and business achievement.
In terms of region, strong performance in the North American market, Asia and Central and South America had helped their motorcycle business grow by 14.5percent of all Yamaha Motor group sales, he added.
"This year, Yamaha celebrates its 50th anniversary as a company and we believe that our unchanging stance toward the creation of quality products has won Yamaha the strong reputation," he maintained.
Chief Executive of Dawood Yamaha Limited, Younas Dawood, said that competition in motorcycle industry was getting severe every year and the customers needs were becoming more and more demanding. "In coping with this situation, the role of dealers, who deals with customers on the frontline is becoming more and more important, he added.
He also briefed them about the salient features of the new motorcycle. A large number of sales, service and parts dealers were also present on the occasion.
