The Karachi Port handled 96,269 tonnes of cargo including 69,574 tonnes import and 26,695 tonnes export cargo including 4,673 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 96,269 tonnes dry cargo including 56,974 tonnes general cargo and 39,295 tonnes bulk cargo.
Five ships namely Conti Asia, Corinthiakos, Hyundai Advance, YM Energy and Tanate sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Sondos, Golden Express, Iran Jahanara, Satha Bhum and Sinar Bontang are currently at the berths.
One ship Maria N. M expected to sail on Friday, while four more vessels viz Iran Mahallati, Ponl Buenos Aires, Al Fatah and Satha Bhum are expected to sail on Saturday.
Three vessels viz Al-Marwah, Sagamore and Ville De Mars due to arrive on Friday, while five more ships namely MT Swat, Kota Mesra, Thor Spirit, Rambler and Balgarka are due to arrive on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 6,415 tonnes wheat; 8,588 tonnes coal; 11,190 tonnes chemicals and 20,485 tonnes containerised cargo.
Five ships namely CV Msc Maya, Cma Cgm Kingston, MT Sun Diamond, Yanaseni and MV Lani Kai sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while container ship Msc Austria is expected to sail on Friday.
A total of four vessels viz Tia Happiness, Sibi, MT Eburna and Saudi Tabuk are currently at the outer anchorage.

Two vessels viz Ville De Mars and Sita Kathrine due to arrive on Friday, while five more ships namely CV Camilla Rickmers, P&o Nedlloyed Los Angeles, Bermudian Express, Al-Marwah and Adrianople with sugar, chemicals and containers are due to arrive on Saturday.
