President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Jalil Ahmad Malik has said that the selfless efforts of volunteers remained commendable after October 8th earthquake destruction.
"But this is not the end of the task and we have a lot to do for rehabilitation and reconstruction of the victims of the devastating earthquake," Malik said while distributing the appreciation certificate among Islamic Mission Hospital Trust's (Nursing School) students, who have worked voluntarily for earthquake victims under RCCI.
Senior Vice President Syed Mushtaq Ali Shah, Vice President Syed Ali Raza Saeed Shah, former president Amanullah Khan, Maqsood Pakir, and Inam-ur-Rehman were also present on the occasion. Appreciating the work of students, Jalil Malik said the students laid a good example, which every citizen of Pakistan from any walk of life should follow.
He also listened the difficulties of students and ensured them to rectify these difficulties in future. "Students are our future and it is our moral obligation to protect them and resolve all their problems at the earliest", he added.
