Bulls commanded the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed healthy signs amid increase in index. ISE network index showed an improvement of 78.26 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 12,629.32 to 12,707.58 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 845,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 13,86,600 shares. Total 149 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (92) closed in positive territory, 55 showed minus signs whereas two companies remained pegged to their previous levels.
The turnover of PTCL was 489,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 403,500 shares. The volume of Hubco was 82,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 275,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 81,500 shares.
