Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri has said that Pakistan achieved diplomatic achievement at OIC summit. Talking to BBC he said, there were three basic things. One was Makkah declaration. Second is ten-year plan of action. The third is communiqué of
Islamic Summit Conference in which Kashmir has been highlighted. Kashmir has also been highlighted in ten-year plan of action. "It is a big diplomatic achievement for us," he added.
To a question he said, an idea of joint Islamic action has been floated. Many issues like Palestine and Kashmir have been placed under it. Secondly, there is an idea of 'Fiqah' Academy as Islamic world is facing problems, he added.
To another question he said, a conference of religious scholars from around the world was held in Oman. They were well known scholars of Muslim world. Their opinion has been reflected in this declaration.
He informed that scholars from hundred Muslim countries attended this summit.
