West Indies' cricketing star Dwayne Bravo, despite being a successful athlete also rose to limelight with his widely acclaimed hip hop number ‘Champion’ a few months back ;has now announced plans to take his talents to the dance floor by partaking in an Indian celebrity dance competition.
"I am very excited to be a part of this show and to do something different. I just want to have fun and enjoy," Bravo, 33, told reporters on Friday prior to his first performance in Jhalak Dikhla Ja, an Indian rendition of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
"These days, cricket and entertainment go together... Dancing is definitely harder than cricket," said Bravo. It could be said that Bravo, may very well be inspired by former England bowler, Darren Gough who won the third series of the show, Strictly Come Dancing back in 2005.
Bravo launched the track "Champion" in Mumbai in March during the World Twenty20 competition which his side went on to win after beating England.
