Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCoAS) General Ahsan Saleem Hyat on Tuesday hosted a reception for the allied and army aviation pilots and technicians who are taking part in the ongoing Operation Life Line in earthquake-hit areas of Azad Kashmir and NWFP.
Paying rich tributes to the aviators, own as well as the friendly countries Vice Chief of Army Staff said that during ongoing relief and rescue operations aviation remained in the forefront to bring relief and comfort to the bereaved and the marooned in the earthquake affected areas. He said that flying in the affected areas was a challenging task due to peculiar nature of the terrain and odd timings, yet the daring pilots of friendly countries and the Pakistani aviators made it possible due to their professionalism and dedication for which they deserve appreciation.
