A Boeing 737 aircraft owned by MNG and flown by Turkish Company pilots, on wet leased to PIA, flying from Dubai to Karachi, inadvertently landed safely at the PAF Base Faisal at 12:50 pm on Friday.
After about one hour and due co-ordination with the PAF, the aircraft was flown to Jinnah International Airport. The cockpit crew of the aircraft has been withdrawn from their duties with PIA. An inquiry is being conducted to ascertain the facts.
PIA regrets the inconvenience that may have been caused to the passengers and relatives as a result of the inordinate delay.-PR
