Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) of Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) that was scheduled for Saturday was adjourned till December 24, due to lack of quorum.
The EOGM was to confirm the results of five-member directors of the LSE board, who were elected unopposed. However, the meeting could not be held due to lack of quorum and now it will be held on Saturday next at 6.30 pm, an LSE official said.
"If an EOGM is put off due to lack of quorum, second time, according to rules and regulations of the LSE, it is held even if only two members are present. Second time there is no restriction of quorum," he pointed out.
