Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Sunday attended the funeral prayer of Farzana Qureshi, 2nd Common CSS Officer of Information Group, who expired on Saturday after protracted illness.
The minister condoled with the father and brother of late Farzana Qureshi, prior to her funeral.
The minister later also visited Zia Shahid, Chief Editor of Daily Khabrain, to enquire about his health and prayed for his early recovery.
Zia Shahid was admitted to Jinnah Hospital for an appendix operation.
