Education and Literacy Department, Sindh conducted written tests for appointment of 150 lecturers of Sindhi language subject, at DJ Science College.
In connection with the implementation of teaching of Sindhi Language at Higher Secondary Level in the province, these tests were held to fill the 150 posts of lecturers, said a statement issued on Sunday.
Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy, Dr Hamida Khuro, Secretary Education, Syed Ghulam Ali Pasha, Additional Secretary (Colleges), Tufail Ahmed, EDO, Education (Karachi), Professor Raees Aivi and other education officials supervised the tests.
Some 805 candidates including 187 females appeared in the tests.
The tests held in very disciplined and peaceful environment while the question paper was prepared by a team of senior professor of the department.
