ISE index loses 80.45 points

Bears forced the bulls to leave the arena at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure intensified in trend-setters amid decrease in index.
ISE network index was minus by 80.45 points as the price-based indicator moved from 12,773.39 to 12,692.94 points. The overall turnover amounted to 1,160,400 shares as compared to previous rate of 897,800 shares.
Total 160 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (118) closed in negative territory, 42 showed plus signs.
The turnover of PTCL was 939,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 261,800 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 48,000 shares. The turnover of Kot Addu Power Company was 36,000.
