Pakistan Steel Mill producing 15,000 corrugated galvanised sheet per day

The Pakistan Steel Mill has succeeded in indigenously developing the capacity to produce over 15,000 corrugated galvanised sheet per day.
According to a PS press release issued here on Tuesday, the plant has, so far, been able to pump in more than 400,000 corrugated sheets into earthquake-affected areas through Pakistan Army Engineering, UNDP and various other NGOs.
This was a timely help which Pakistan Steel could extend at a crucial time of the national history.
Although the Pakistan Steel is heavily booked for the supplies of these sheets, it is in a position to entertain more orders which are pouring in, as the NGOs prefer to buy quality sheets on compatible prices from within the country rather than import from neighbouring countries.
The prices of PS corrugated galvanised sheets are Rs 55,000, Rs 52,500, and Rs 52,000 per ton for thickness of up to 0.66mm, 0.70mm and 0.75mm, respectively, which can also be seen at the Pakistan Steel website (www.paksteel.com.pk).-PR
