Helicopters and land weapons being used in Balochistan: ISPR

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Shaukat has admitted that helicopters and land weapons had been used by the paramilitary forces in 'targeted action' at some bases of miscreants in Balochistan.
He told the newsmen that the miscreants making rocket fires and involved in subversive activities were targeted by the paramilitary forces in Balochistan.
"Only target raids were conducted on their positions to prevent them from rocket firing and subversive activities," he said and added that the miscreants belonged to Marri and other Baloch tribes.
He denied launching any widespread military operation and said it was a raid made on 'perfect target' and clarified that utmost efforts were made to avoid bloodshed of innocent people.
