The Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government and the Thai Business Center arranged a one day 'Second Thai Export Rally' here on Saturday.
Thai Honorary Consul General Zia Haider Rizvi inaugurated the exhibition in which 16 Thai companies representing various industrial sectors set up their stalls, said Thai Business Center Director Yusuf Jamil Rizvi while talking to Business Recorder.
He said that companies hail from sectors like food processing, textile, PVC, mould and machinery, auto-parts, decorative products, charcoal, food industry, skin care and jewellery.
A large number of businessmen from Lahore visited the exhibition and exchanged information with their Thai counterparts. They included former LCCI president Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, LCCI Vice-President Aftab Ahmad Vohra, Irfan Qaiser, Mian Faheem Qamar and Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIE) chief Mohsin Syed.
