Chief Justice and judges of Peshawar High Court have declared that the following public holidays shall be observed by all the courts subordinate to PHC in NWFP.
These holidays will also be observed by the Peshawar High Court, and its Abbottabad and D.I.Khan benches.
THE SCHEDULE OF HOLIDAYS IS AS FOLLOW: two days on account of Eidul-Azha from January 10 to January 11, Kashmir Day on February 05, two days Ashura from February 06-07, Pakistan Day on March 23, Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) on April 11, Labour Day on May 01, Independence Day on August 14, Eid ul Fitr from October 22-24, Iqbal Day on November 09, Quaid-e-Azam Day/Christmas on December 25, winter holidays for Judges of Peshawar High Court from December 24-January 01, 2007, December 26 2006 (for Christians only), Eid ul Azha from December 30-31 2006, winter holidays for staff of PHC, its benches at Abbottabad and D.I.Khan and all the subordinate courts in NWFP.
