Tax officials told to study CBR notification

Additional Collector, Sales Tax, Karachi, Majid Yousafani, has stressed upon the officials of provincial Excise & Taxation Department to go through the notification of Central Board of Revenue (CBR) regarding vehicles registration, in detail.
"Officials are required to act according to the said notification while registering the vehicles", he said at the closing ceremony of a training workshop on 'Procedure for Recovery of Sales Tax on Vehicles' here on Tuesday.
He dwelt upon different aspects of the notification. Deputy Collectors Sales Tax Abdul Wahid, Mujeeb Arslan, Jahangir Ahmed also spoke.
