The National Tariff Commission (NTC) stated that the public hearing for review of tariff protection to indigenous industry manufacturing glass sheets which was to be held on Wednesday (December 28) would now be held on Monday (January 16).
Lahore Glass Merchant's Group and Importers Association had approached the NTC for reduction in customs duty on imported glass from 25 percent to an adequate level.
The public hearing would be held at 11am in the committee room of NTC at 11th Floor, State Life Building No 5, Blue Area, Islamabad.
All interested parties may attend this hearing and bring their comments and suggestions in writing. The comments and suggestions may be supported with essential facts, information and supporting evidence, which must be brought to the public hearing. The views not supported with reliable documentary evidence(s) will not be considered.-PR
