Pakistan's ambassador in Athens (Greece) Rashid Saleem Khan has again denied kidnapping of Pakistanis by the British spies. "We are trying to get the matters defused as soon as possible". He, however, assured that "we shall take care so that our community does not suffer any setback" he told BBC.
To a question, the diplomat said a prosecutor of Greece was investigating into the issue. "So long as this investigation is complete, I don't want to throw any light on this issue. But I am fully aware of the situation," he added.
Rashid Saleem said their stand has been and still is that such an incident did not take place, in which Pakistanis were arrested, harassed and subjected to violence by the British intelligence agencies in Greece.
"We shall have to wait for the result of the prosecutor's investigations," he said.
Meanwhile, members of the Parliament belonging to the Opposition have asked the Greek government to provide more details about 28 Pakistani, who were allegedly kidnapped by the officials of the British secret agencies and were investigated about the bomb explosions, which took place in London in 7th July.
A newspaper of Greece has also published the name of the British Secret agency officials, allegedly involved in the incident. The British government earlier denied the charges and now asked media not to publish the name of that secret agency official, report added.
