Prices moved both ways in the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Friday as some needy buyers bought few lots to cover the immediate needs, they said.
The January vaida opened unchanged at Rs 447.70. Later, it gained 50 paisa to be day's highest at Rs 448.20. In the process of trading, it lost 70 paisa to be day's bottom at Rs 447.50 and closing was seen at Rs 448.20.
The next vaida started at the overnight level at Rs 460.60 and proved to be day's best at the same rate also. Later, it lost Rs 1.10 to be day's bottom at Rs 459.50 and closing was seen at Rs 460.30.
