'No cement crisis in Sukkur'

Muhammad Azam Larik, Managing Director, Rohri Cement Ltd, has said that there was no "cement crisis" and added that the Rohri Cement Factory was manufacturing quality cement at its full capacity. Larik, who had been a former Director Population Welfare Department Sindh has recently taken over the charge of Rohri Cement Ltd.
He told newsmen in a briefing on Tuesday that there was no truth in the press reports about cement shortage in this area, and viewed that this may be happening due to the hoarding trend of some of cement stockists.
