Bulls return in driving seat on ISE

Equities witnessed broad-based recovery on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls returned in the driving seat amid increase in index. ISE-10 index showed an improvement of 113.60 points, as the ten index moved from 3,096.55 to 3,210.15 points. The overall turnover amounted to 2,183,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,315,200 shares.
Total 155 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (110) closed in positive territory, 45 showed minus signs whereas zero companies remained pegged to their previous levels.
The turnover of Hubco was 1,009,500 shares. The volume of PTCL was 698,500 shares as compared to pervious turnover of 532,700 shares. The volume of Fauji Cement was 218,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 100,000 shares.
