Habib Bank Limited (HBL) has promoted its 850 clerical staff who had acquired many skills including computer knowledge from the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan (IBP).
The promotion process was transparent and enhanced skills were the only criteria that were considered while promoting the clerical staff. The bank has also increased the 10 percent basic salary of the promoted employees. The bank management extended its felicitation to the employees for their good performance.
It sends a clear message to all the employees that promotion will only come after the enhancement in the skills. The management also advised the employees who do not have graduate degrees to get it to be included for the promotion.-PR
