One Gauhar Abbas (21) has died and another two injured seriously when a bomb exploded near railway track in Kherpur Tamewali (Bahawalpur) on Tuesday.
Three youths, Gauhar Abbas, Hafiz Mubashar and Shehzad residents of Dokota (Mailsi) went to see an annual festival in Kherpur Tamewali on a motorcycle. They found a bomb on their way and Gauhar Abbas kicked it to remove from the path along the railway track which burst violently resultantly Gauhar died on the pot and his friends injured seriously. They were removed to Bahawal Victoria Hospital.
"This mishap occurred in army exercise area where three youths Gauhar Abbas (21) Shehzad and Hafiz Mubashar mishandled a defused bomb which exploded and it took a life of one of them," said DIG Bahawalpur Ghulam Haider Marth.
