The government has lifted the ban on tent exports following the completion of the supply of 300,000 tents for quake survivors. Secretary Textile, Masood Alam Rizvi told a private TV channel that export of tents was banned in the backdrop of its tremendous local requirements that had erupted after the October 8 earthquake.
The local industry was given a target of supplying 300,000 tents to meet the requirements of quake affected people, he added.
