Two alleged kidnappers were killed and two others arrested in an encounter with police and anti terrorist squad in Turbat on Friday. Two Iranian nationals Amir Bakhsh and Muhammad in collaboration with Noor Muhammad and Saeed kidnapped a noted businessman Qasim from Chah Bahar, Port City of Iran.
They brought Qasim to Turbat and were removing him to Mand on Friday. On information a team of police and ATS chased them. They clashed at Kech Kore area near Turbat. ATS signalled them to stop but they resorted to firing.
ATS returned the fire in which Noor Muhammad and Amir Bakhsh, both Iran national were killed while Saeed and Muhammad (also Iranian) sustained injuries.
They were arrested along with their Corolla car no-AAF-656.
Kidnapped Qasim was also recovered from the dickey of the vehicle. He was tied with ropes.
His kidnappers had demanded Rs 20 million as ransom. Police was probing into the motives of the criminals for kidnapping Qasim.
