Revelation Mindscapes Inc recently held very interesting advertising training seminar on 'Wizards of Ads'. The seminar aimed to bring under one roof advertising industry leaders to pool their intelligence and experience and frame the future with enough clarity so that effective marketing and advertising plans could, in future, be developed, says a press release here on Thursday.
From mastermind strategists to outstanding creative directors to expert media Planners, these advertising wizards provided the ad world with the best possible advertising solutions for the 21st century.
The seminar was designed for chief executive officers (CEOs), marketing directors, marketing managers, brand managers, advertising agency professionals, students and anyone interested in the field of marketing, advertising and media, the release added.
The seminar was addressed by Interflow Communications Chief Executive Tahir A Khan, MNJ Communications founder Javed Jabbar, Adcom (Pvt) Limited Managing Director Imran Syed, and Synergy Advertising Managing Director Ahmed Kapadia.
According to the press release, Ahmed Kapadia was the first speaker of the day, who spoke about the basics of effective advertising and the problems facing the industry.
Imran Syed stressed the need for wizardry in advertising, while Tahir A Khan credited consumer insight as the next big creative idea, and showed how the Interflow shaped its advertising campaigns over the years. Javed Jabbar, who was also the keynote speaker of the seminar, shared his views on the past and the future of advertising in Pakistan, the release said.
The presentations were followed by a highly entertaining and informative power panel discussion on the future of advertising industry in Pakistan, in which prominent advertising personalities were invited to discuss the topic in detail.
Moderated by Tauqeer Muhajir, the panellists included The Brand Partnership Chief Executive (CE) Noman Nabi, MAZ Advertising's Mukhtar Azmi, MCM Advertising CEO Mehmood Parekh, Adcom (Pvt) Limited Managing Director Imran Syed, and Synergy Advertising Managing Director Ahmed Kapadia. Various problem areas were identified and effective solutions were suggested by the panellists. In the concluding session of the day, a compilation of award winning television commercials of Pakistan since 1970s were shown live for the first time by another ad legend - Server Moosavee. Overall the seminar was extremely well attended by people from the field.-PR
