The Tax Facilitation Division (TFD) of Medium Taxpayer Unit (MTU) Karachi is conducting a series of workshops on e-filing, salary, its taxability and proper filing of mandatory quarterly and annual statements.
MTU Commissioner Muhammad Anwar Goraya, at the conclusion ceremony of third workshop, declared the exercise had been taken on directives of the Central Board of Revenue to educate and facilitate the taxpayers in larger national interest. The organisations, departments that are interested in sending their nominees may do so by calling on UAN 111-688-688, he added.
So far, three such workshops have been conducted while the process has been announced to be ongoing one. The department intends to conduct such workshop twice that is one on each Monday and Thursday.-PR
