Hundreds of activists of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Karachi chapter, staged a protest demonstration here at Empress Market, Saddar, on Saturday to denounce the visit of US President George W. Bush, dubbing him as a 'terrorist.'
Sindh PTI President Zubair Khan, General Secretary Jawwad Ahmed and of Karachi Div PTI President Ashraf Qureshi spoke on the occasion.
They attacked the policies of the government and demanded immediate release of PTI President Imran Khan.
They warned government of "facing consequences" if failed to release Imran Khan.
"The US president has come to Pakistan as a guest of the government, but not the guest of the people," said PTI leaders while addressing protest rally. They accused the government of its 'double standards.'
The protestors were holding banners and placards inscribed with anti-Bush slogans.
