Middle Eastern telecoms company Investcom said recently, it had awarded a contract for a GSM network in Afghanistan to Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson.
The order included infrastructure and services to support the development of Investcom's GSM 900 and 1800 network in the country, the firm said in a statement.
