The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed three clerks from their service and also stopped two annual increments of an assistant of the LHC. Those who were dismissed included Yasir Alvi, Arshad Hussain and Murad Haider Hashmi.
The two annual increments of an assistant Muhammad Nazir has been held under rules 23(a) (3) of High Court Establishment (appointment & conditions of service) Rules, 1974. All the officials were facing charges of misconduct, gross negligence and inefficiency.
