Federal Minister for Irrigation and Power Liaquat Jatoi on Monday said the present government was making all-out efforts to ensure provision of basic facilities to masses and in line of this President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz had announced Rs 100 million each for Dadu district.
He was speaking at a reception arranged by ex-workers of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Abid Ghaloo, Ali Nawaz Chandio and Ali Hassan Chandio at Sial Mori, Dadu.
The minister said electricity had been provided at Gorakh Hill Station and road schemes had also been completed, while other development works were underway at an accelerated pace at the site.
Liaquat Jatoi received public complaints against the Hesco and other departments. He formed a committee to be headed by District Nazim to redress the civic problems of the people.
