Golf ironman Vijay Singh is giving himself a break. Singh, who has had only one idle week all year, pulled out of the Honda Classic that starts on Thursday in Palm Beach and said he would consider pulling out of the following week's Bay Hill Invitational.
Singh had planned to play both tournaments. But the world number two - who regularly packs his schedule with more tournaments than any other elite player - said he needs to work on his game before the Masters.
Before he gets down to work, however, Singh said he would go two days without touching a club - a rarity for him.
