Irri white lower on grain market

Thin business was seen on the grain market on Monday as the main participants remained on the sidelines due to satisfactory position on the supply side, dealers said.
On the rice sector, Irri-white inferior type lost Rs 20 to Rs 870 and the good type managed to limit losses, shed Rs 10 to Rs 900 on easy supplies due to absence of buying interest on the part of both the exporters and local buyers, market sources said. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag gained Rs 5 to Rs 525-535, they said. Other sectors stayed put.
