Bearish sentiment persisted on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Tuesday as purchasing in low volume was noted, dealers said.
The March vaida did not show any change at the early hour at Rs 488.50 and that proved to be day's best at the same level. In the process of trading it shed Rs 1.50 to be day's bottom at Rs 487.00 and closing was seen at the same level, they said.
The May contract was inert at Rs 495.70. Later it rose by 20 paisa to be day's best at Rs 495.90. In process of trading it lost Rs 1.40 to be day's bottom at Rs 494.50 and market settled at the same level, they said.
