Election Commission of Pakistan (EC) Secretary Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad has said that on the application filed by B A Malik, a contesting candidate for general seat in the Senate from the federal capital.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar has directed the Punjab home secretary to produce Qazi Hussain Ahmad, MNA, in the Parliament House on March 10 to enable him to cast his vote in the Senate elections.
Qazi Hussain Ahmad is reported to have been detained under MPO-16 by the Punjab government.
