Bears snatched the floor from the bulls at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities failed to show recovery signs amid decrease in index. ISE Ten index showed a decrease of 86.96 points, as the index closed at 3,013.83 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 10,14,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 789,300 shares.
Total 130 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (98) closed in negative territory, 31 showed plus signs, whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight level. The volume of PTCL was 373,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 428,700 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 230,300 shares as compared to previous turnover of 40,000 shares. The turnover of Pakistan PTA was 120,000 shares.
