ISLAMABAD: Around 72 per cent subscribers have expressed complete satisfaction on telecom and support services being provided by National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC).
Around 14 per cent showed dis-satisfaction whereas 14 per cent remained neutral while 90 per cent of NTC subscribers said they receive bill in time and 07 per cent disagreed on in time bill delivery.
Around 3 per cent showed mixed response in a survey carried out by Ministry of Information Technology (MoIT) to assess quality of service of NTC.
During the survey, telecom and data services of NTC were assessed on different parameters, ranging from installation to bill delivery along with responsiveness of customer support services.
In his comments here on Monday, Head of NTC, Brig (Retd) Viqar Rashid Khan expressed his satisfaction over survey results as well as on various contingency plans.
He instructed all Director Generals to further enhance service delivery with quality assurance.
He instructed DG Operations to take all necessary steps to ensure provision of smooth telecom/ICT services to NTC subscribers in all circumstances.
It is pertinent to mention here that under Viqar Rashid Khan, NTC has shown record growth/expansion of network and infrastructure and come into profit after a lean period of five years.
