Workshop on privatisation from March 13

In collaboration with Islamic Development Bank's Technical Assistant support programme, the Department of Audit General of Pakistan was organising a two-week workshop on 'Privatisation' and training course on 'Audit of privatisation' for ECOSAI countries.
According to an Audit and Accounts Training Institute Lahore's spokesman here on Saturday, workshop would be held between March 13 and 24 and at least two participants from the member countries would attending it.
ECOSAI has 10 member countries, while Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has an observer status. The main objective of the workshop is to familiarise the participants with the concepts, method and utility of audit of privatisation; to identify issues for audit of privatisation; and to plan and undertake audit of privatisation under able supervision and prepare audit reports.
