An earthquake of mild intensity measuring four on international Richter scale jolted Mirpur in Azad Kashmir on Saturday afternoon. According to preliminary analysis of Meteorological Station here, the earthquake originated at 17:06 hours and its epicenter lied about 300 km east of Peshawar in Azad Kashmir.
This is the second tremor that hit Mirpur district during the last 24 hours. A mild intensity of four on international Richter scale had jolted Mirpur at 14:47 hours on Friday.
